About Workshop

Kin (golden) and tsugi (rejoining)
Join us and discover the art of golden repair!

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, symbolizing the beauty of embracing flaws and imperfections. In this workshop, you'll embark on a journey of patience and creativity. You'll learn about the traditional practice of Kintsugi and then create your own piece using modern techniques. You'll choose between a Japanese bowl or a small plate to break and reassemble, using real gold mica custom-coloured to mimic authentic Kintsugi.
